I know that I am the desire of the Lord. Dust as I am, I am what the creator of the universe longs for. 

How long did I resist Your love? 

“I just want My bride” You whispered.

When I didn’t think I could be enough. When I didn’t understand that by You saying it, I could be considered holy. 

“I just want My bride” You repeated still. 

When I refused to listen anything I heard that tried to convince me of Your unrelenting love. 

Patiently you said, “I just want My bride, I just want My bride, I just want My bride”

Finally I listened, finally I understood, finally I accepted. 

God doesn’t want us to live in insecurity, He doesn’t desire for us to wonder if He loves us, He doesn’t make us jump through hoops for His approval. It is so freeing to know that God is the one who will bend over backwards to reconcile us to Him. Don’t be afraid to go to the Father secure in the knowledge of all age sacrificed for you.
